Dr. Ware graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry and is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society. Dr. Ware is active in various optometric organizations, including the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and Central Texas Optometric Society (serving as Treasurer 2001-2002 and Secretary 2000).
Dr. Ware has practiced optometry in the Austin/Round Rock area since 1998. Dr. Ware is dedicated to providing the best eye care for your family.

We are previous patients of Advance Eye Care, but due to a change in insurance, we had to find anoth... Show Moreer practice that was in-network with our current plan.
That being said, my 15-year-old daughter is a returning patient who was seen by Dr. Tran last week after having a less-than-positive experience at another practice. Dr. Tran and the entire staff went above and beyond to make my daughter feel comfortable, validated, and heard.
Although we had to pay out of pocket because Advance Eye Care is out of network with our current insurance, I can honestly say it was worth it. My daughter left her appointment feeling like she had finally been listened to and taken seriously by her medical provider. As a parent, that means more to me than words can express.
I especially appreciated how the staff addressed my daughter directly as the patient and only involved me when something specifically needed to be discussed with a parent. At 15, she deserves to feel respected, heard, and involved in her own healthcare, and the team did an outstanding job of making that happen.
A heartfelt thank-you to Dr. Tran and everyone who helped make this such a positive experience, from the front desk staff to the medical assistant and the optical center associate. Your kindness, compassion, and attentiveness made a lasting impression on both of us.
Thank you for making my daughter feel seen, heard, and taken seriously. That kind of care makes all the difference!

Just moved to the Hutto area and went her for eye exam and glasses. I was greatly impressed with the... Show More atmosphere, cleanliness, appointment availability, minimal wait time and efficiency of staff, and overall friendliness. The technology for the eye exam in the best i have encountered in 15 years (though I was in Temple Texas previously). I was helped by Jaye Semien picking out new frames, which is always very difficult for me- and she really helped me make the hard decisions. Dr. Tran was fantastic in completing my exam and listening to my concerns. I am happy with the whole experience there (August 2026)
